Bands are a versatile and effective tool for anyone looking to add resistance training to their workouts. They come in various types, each with their unique characteristics and benefits. Here you find some tips how to select different types of bands, including Power bands, Mini – Loop Bands (Rubber/ Fabric), Flatbands, Tubings and Multifunctional Bands.

1. Power Bands:

Resistance bands are long bands that can be used for a variety of exercises. They are soft to touch, durable, elastic and tear-resistance. Resistance bands come in strong and extra-strong resistance levels. They can be used for exercises such as shoulder presses, bicep curls, and pull-downs.

Superbands are designed to handle heavier loads and provide more resistance than traditional bands. Superbands are ideal for exercises that require a lot of strength and power, such as squats, deadlifts, and bench presses. They can also be used for stretching and flexibility exercises. They are made of elastic material and they are available in 5 different color coded levels.


2. Mini-Loop Bands:

Minibands are made of superior quality elastic/rubber material. They are designed to be worn around your thighs or ankles. They’re ideal for activating and strengthening smaller muscle groups, such as your gluteus medius and hip abductors. Minibands resistance levels are from light to very-heavy, and can be used for exercises such as clamshells, lateral leg raises, and monster walks.

Loop bands are textile, continuous bands that form a loop. They’re designed to be used for exercises that require you to wrap the band around a body part, such as your legs or arms. Loop bands come in different resistance levels, from extra-light to extra-strong and can be used for a wide range of exercises, including squats, lunges, and arm curls.

 


3. Flatbands - Physiotherapy - Pilates Band:

Flatbands are flat, elastic and stretchy bands that have numerous applications and can be used for various purposes such as Pilates, mobility exercises, resistance training, and rehabilitation. It is highly durable and long-lasting.


4. Tubings:

Tubebands are elastic resistance bands with a tube shape that allow for a wide range of exercises, including pushing, pulling, rowing, curls, squats and shoulder raises. They also come with a ball-adjusting mechanism that can instantly adjust the length to fit any exercise or user height.

Slastix Toners are elastic resistance bands that have an outer protective layer to make them more comfortable and safer to use.
